PUBLIC NOTICE OF AVAILABLE DISTRICT WATER FOR CONTRACT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at the Mendocino County Russian River Flood Control & Water Conservation Improvement District has water available for contract under its licensed water rights as issued by the California State Water Resources Control Board (“District Water”).

The District Board recently adopted a policy to annually issue public notice of availability of District Water to contract for a 60 day period during which time all interested parties must submit a request to contract for a specific amount of District Water. (Policy: https://rrfc.specialdistrict.org/policies)

If requests to contract for available District Water exceed the amount of District Water available to contract, the available District Water will be allocated pro rata across all requests based on a proration factor (percentage) of each request amount. Allocations will become effective on October 1st of that same year.

Written requests can be submitted to DistrictManager@rrfc.net, through the “contact us” tool on the District website www.rrfc.net, or mailed to PO Box 2104 by close of day on Monday, October 5, 2026.
